Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar is an independent, co-educational school for students aged 3 – 18. Our Primary day school follows the British National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum while our secondary boarding school modelled along British lines offers the Cambridge IGCSE and A level.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and collegial teachers wishing to join a warm and friendly boarding community, who are prepared to participate fully in our extensive extra-curricular activities programme.

Candidates should be above 25 years old and have had at least 2 years’ teaching experience up to A level English Literature, focused on student- centred learning and competent in the use of ICT.

ENGLISH TEACHER

Communicate clearly and accurately;
Engage and motivate students;
Encourage both independent and collaborative learning;
Use assessment to inform teaching and learning;
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness;
Possess highly developed lCT competencies.
