Following the recommendation of the Royal Commission Report that examines Aziz Teaching in Peninsular Malaysia, the certificate has been submitted to the government to set up a separate Service Commission from the Public Service Commission (PSC) of the Education Service. Accordingly, the Education Service Commission (SPP) was established in accordance with Article 141A of the Federal Constitution with effect from January 1, 1974. Through the implementation of government reforms take effect from 1 August 2012, the membership of the Education Service Commission members set a total of thirteen (13) consists of a Chairman, a Deputy Chairman and eleven (11) members of the Commission.
