Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS) established by the Enactment of Selangor Housing and Real Estate gazetted under the State Government Gazette No. 54 Vol. 26 dated December 26, 2001 (Enactment LPHS 2001), became effective on March 1, 2002. At the initial stages are confined to the connection LPHS tasks in Section Housing, the State Economic Planning Unit to monitor the collection of 174 monthly installments low-cost housing scheme involving 18.508 and monitor the distribution of household accounts based on the Open Registration System (TPS) for the cost of home low. However, as of early 2004 in addition to these duties, LPHS required to implement fully the functions envisaged in the Enactment of Selangor Housing and Real Estate 2001.
