Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) is an organization that was established in 1957 that was known as Lembaga Perusahaan Nanas Tanah Melayu. In keeping with the development of the pineapple industry, the agency name was altered to Lembaga Perindustrian Nanas Malaysia/Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board in 1992 (Act 105- Revised 1990) under the Ministry of Main Industry.
