Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is a government agency under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. FRIM function is under the guidelines provided by the Forestry Research and Development Board Malaysia (MFRDB). MFRDB was created under MFRDB Act, 1985, as a result of the restructuring of the Forest Research Institute (FRI).
