Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP) established in 1926 has undergone many changes from year to year. To this day Pahang Islamic Religious Council has moved into the era of corporatization in which the Islamic Religious Council has allowed trade as provided in the Administration of Muslim Law Act 1991, Section 4 (1).
