Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) basic goal is to strengthen the cooperative sector to enable it to contribute significantly to economic growth mainly provide financial assistance to small businesses and business owners are cooperative . SKM is responsible for ensuring the financial and operational aspects of the cooperative in a systematic and stable. Financial assistance can be channeled through two funds created position of Co-operative Deposit Account (CDA) and the Cooperative Liquidity Fund (CLF).
