Kampong Bharu developed over 113 years ago, is located in Section 41, Bandar Kuala Lumpur with total area 307.34 acres (124.37 hectares).Fractional land categories are as follows:MAS area (Malay Agriculture Settlement) area of ??222.76 acres (89.70 hectares) contains 7 villages tradition which was gazetted on January 11, 1964. It is a gift of land ownership remains a sanctioned interest. On December 7, 2011, Kampong Bahru Development Corporation Act 2011 has been passed by Parliament. Kampong Bharu Development Corporation (PKB) has been established on 1 April 2012. PKB has been tasked as the coordinating agency, facilitator and a prime mover in the development of Kampong Bharu.
