History of health care in this country dates back to before independence. Construction of the hospital when it is to treat workers in the tin mining industry. Every worker of mine had to pay 50 cents a year for treatment. Because of the tin mining industry booming in Perak, at the end of the 19th century the state has the most number of 15 hospitals. Hospitals was the Taiping Hospital, Teluk Intan, Tapah, Sungai. Mussels, Slim River, Sri Manjung, For, Parit Buntar, Magelang, Kampar, Ipoh, CBD, Changkat Horizontal, Batu Gajah and Tanjung Rambutan. Malaysian Ministry of Health will continue to grow with the increase in health facilities of each year . The Ministry is also a reference from neighboring countries in a variety of medical technologies and methods such as cardiology and geriatric medicine . Now the focus of the Ministry of Health to be more extensive , particularly in providing equitable health services , accessible and quality . This development is in line with the changing pattern of environmental health, health technology development of globalization and liberalization on the pattern of changes in disease , health, environment and technology development at the global level .
